My issue " War in Iraq" This is a serious issue because the war in iraq is because of oil and because of 9/11. This is very important because people are getting hurt and family affected.This affect soldiers family of soldiers and people in iraq whos homes are being bombed To get more help on my issue or facts is ms. jackson
The issues i have chosen is the violence of our community.The community and everyone around it is affected because they see these actions with there own eyes. I think the major and teachers can help to provide information and to brainstorm so the product can be good.
The issue that I have chosen was throwing trash outside the car when your driving and creating pollution. This is a serious problem because people are getting bad air into their lungs, and sooner or later they will have bad lungs. I think that everybody is effected, and the person who could help me more with this is my cousin. She actually had the experience. People with asthma is also effected by this.
My issue is the water running out in ATL.This is a serious problem because there could be many people who can die. This is importent because with out water they can't do anything. And they say every living thing needs water. To get more info in my issue i will go to Ms. Jackson and Mr. Mcgowan.

My issue is Violence and Crimes around our neighborhoods. This is a serious issue because it affects us in many ways specially us. When we see all these crimes it affect us. Also children get affected. Like what happened in August over the summer a little 8 year old shot his little cousin in the stomach twice with his brother's gun, because his brother was in a gang. All this affects families specially. This problem is a matter of life or death. I chose to think about the issue of racism. I chose this because of things like Jena Six, and the Burma monks. This is a serious topic because if history repeats itself then it will be dangerous for people to live life free. I agree with you because the more and more people that throw things in neighborhood will soon be dirty(er) because the government could get tired of cleaning up after peoples mess and won't do it and leave it to the people of the neighborhood but then other people would get tired of it or be lazy so that wouldn't be a good thing.
1. the issue i choose was how gas prices are sky rocketing and how some people are either not buying gas or are looking for cars that don't need gas not run on which are bringing sales down causing the workers not to deliver the gas needed for everyday needs like heaters wand other house held items. The people who are effected by this are people who drive and are public transportators who pay for the gas to put in their vehciles to drive around and they can help by going to the store and buying cheaper gas instead of going to the gas station and buying their over prices gasoline.
My issue is about the crime rate raising in the country. I think is big thing because that means it is not getting any safer to walk down the street. Or to take the bus or the train. This is affecting the loyal citizen that pay taxes. What do they get in return ? More and more Violence every year.

My issue is "The War In Iraq" A lot of families is getting torn apart from the war and the bombs in Iraq and the shooting is causing innocent people to die and schools are getting bombed up so kids don't get there education and it's a lot of people and its President Bushes fault and everybody else who agreed to go to war also.
The issue I'm working on is violence in the community. I think this is a serious issue because a lot of people are affected by the violence that young people are creating now or days i am a prime example of the violence in the community. also another reason why it's a imporant issue to me is because the people who is suppose to be protecting us such as police, the mayor,the govern and much more aren't trying there hardest i say that because here you have our govern who we choose to represent us and he knows how the violence is affecting us (the people) but instead of trying to make an effort to try and stop the crime rates to go up he is worried about putting casinos in town so that makes me think about how all the times adults say your or future so because where the future I'm going to at least try and make a difference that's more than what i can say for others

1.I have chosen Link between gangs and race discrimination historically accurate. I chosen it because i think this could happen around my neighborhood. My is "gun violence" in our community
this a serious issue because many people are dying everyday. This a issue that is really taking a hold of the urban communities, such as the one I live in. The more the gun violence continues to grow the more unsafe the streets become for little children to walk outside. More African-American families lose loved ones due to gun violence. I also know people who lose someone to gun violence including myself. This needs to be stop because the more people shoot the more bodies we will have in te grave. This needs to stop before we all get feel the pain of gun violence in he community!

Who would be a good resource for your problem? Perhaps you can talk to Mr. McGowan and he can let you know of some people to talk about. I think that the city has a little to do with this problem because they have cut back on the number of trash receptacles for the public to properly dispose of their trash --- but at the same time people are not making sure they throw trash into a barrel instead they drop it wherever they finish their snack or drink or whatever.

I remember when I payed 99 cents a gallon for gas for my car. This weekend I payed close to $3.00 -- this is an issue. The other side of this issue is that oil is a nonrenewable resource -- what do we need to solve this problem? Get gas to be cheaper or find ways to create energy that doesn't require gas.
