Solving Our Problems

1. Write down your idea that you have for solving your issue. Also write the organization that you think can help you.

2. Respond to at least 3 other students. Offer them other ideas for a solution, Evaluate their solution (will it work?), offer other ideas for people that can help.

Brainstorming for help

1. Take a moment to write several sentences about what issue you have chosen,why you think it is a serious problem, who you think is affected and how, and who you have thought of to help you.

2. When you have posted, read your classmates ideas. You must respond to at least 3 other students posts. Suggest other affects, other people to learn more about the problem from etc.

During class last week, we read the Ed/Op article called "Hub rules drive cabbies down rough road" Review this article (in the file links on the website) and consider the following:

1. A good piece of persuasive writing should inspire action on the part of the reader. Do you think that the writer of this article has inspired you to get involved in solving this problem? How?


2. A solution offered by a writer should somehow improve the situation. Will the solution offered by the author improve the situation with cab drivers and service? In what ways will it?
